As at 2 April 2024 Sweeping Changes will take place – NSW Land & Environment Court is seeking parties in dispute to engage where possible a single joint expert to make the appeal process against the VG a “just quick and cheap” exercise and avoid the party’s individual experts to argue over competing valuation issues. The Court among other sweeping changes have made it mandatory for expert valuers to prepare valuation position papers early in the appeal phase to show unadjusted and adjusted dollars values based on the reliant sales evidence.
